“Took the luxury of hiring a sound company this weekend. With Lenny still in a boot, not lifting and carrying and our sub situation compromised, I felt it was an expense we had to incur. it’s not the first time I’ve used these folks. And they have us pretty dialed in. A modest system with excellent sound, and good console. The sound was as clean as I’ve heard it in a long time.

I do not take anything away from Lenny Austin because he does a great mix!  But, having to play and mix it’s a distraction and having the right ears and the right knowledge along with the right gear out front is a huge help.

I don’t know what their availability is or their plan to do live sound other than large shows, but I hope they keep looking out for the little guys like me…and I almost hate to put this out here cause I don’t wanna share them, lol!

Southview Arts Recording Studio owned by Jim Gilmour, we have been taken care of and it’s worth every penny. When the  Sound is taken care of, we can focus on performance and delivering songs to our audience (and we generally make up quite a bit of it in tips)  I think people feel the energy. Nick and John, our engineers, did a top-notch job over the weekend. My monitor was perfect I didn’t have to ask for a thing, went  out front several times and everything kicked ass.
